Our multicultural learning community fosters a healthy environment

Middle School comprises 6th, 7th and 8th grades.

Our Middle School students grow in spaces of healthy coexistence, accompanied by subject specialists trained in teaching competencies and adolescent development. Adolescence is a transitional stage where we pay special attention to social-emotional growth. The Psycho-pedagogical department works actively with teachers, parents and students. Along with French as a third language, students take Social Studies and Science 100% in English.

Interdisciplinary projects

Through interdisciplinary inquiry projects, our students build competencies to face real-world situations and solve challenges as citizens of a global world.

  • Within our program, students prepare for and take the English Certification — Cambridge PET, and the French Certification — DELF.

School coexistence program

Our coexistence program promotes healthy relationships and respect for diversity within a culture of peace. We are all responsible for the climate of our community.

Strategies include internal assessments, sociograms and assemblies on non-violent conflict resolution, supported by the Psycho-pedagogical department working actively with teachers, parents and students.

A complete program

Art Workshops

Art is essential to each student's integral development. Starting in 6th grade, students present a major theater production as the result of the year's workshop work.

Workshops include musical ensemble, dance, theater, makeup, costume design, photo and video, graphic design, set design, percussion and voice, fostering creativity, sensibility and collaboration.

Sports development

We know the positive impact of sport in education. The program includes weekly Physical Education and the sports Afterschool with highly trained, sport-specialized coaches.

We have sports facilities, an indoor pool and a fitness center. Students can join representative teams and compete in interschool and state tournaments.

Information Technology

The main goal of the IT area is to prepare students in project building and hands-on technology, fostering:

  • Problem-solving.
  • Stimulating creativity.
  • Experimentation and hands-on work.
  • Teamwork that fosters socialization.
  • Curiosity and a spirit of inquiry.
  • Responsible knowledge and use of technology.

Our IT area prepares students digitally to know and properly use information tools and to take responsibility for them.
