Physical Education

We all know about the benefits of Sports and Physical Education in a well organized Sports Centre. ISQ provides the appropriate tools to create a lifestyle of habits in our Students. Our Athletic Department works hard to promote values, make our students aware of the importance of leading a healthy life, and of being part of a team in society.

ISQ coaches are highly qualified and offer a safe infrastructure: Semi-Olympic indoor Swimming-pool, Track field, Soccer fields, Volleyball court, and Basketball court.

Kodiaks

Five years ago ISQ organized a contest to choose the ISQ mascot. Our KODIAK BEAR came out to be the winner.

Did you know that…

Kodiaks belong to the family of the Grizzly bear and they were named after the Kodiak Island. The estimated number on this Island is 2500/3000 bears.

For many people, a trip to Kodiak Island means the possibility of seeing the great Kodiak bear. A Kodiak bear might be 11.81 ft. big, weigh 1,499.14 lbs. and live approximately 20 years. These majestic animals are always fascinating to observe and are indeed Kodiak Island’s most regal landlord.

Kodiak bears avoid wild encounters by expressing themselves with a complex language, their hearing is good to excellent by human standards; and among bears, body language is the primary mode of communication.

In 1941, The Kodiak National Wildlife Refuge was organized. This organization very much cares about the preservation of the habitat of the Kodiak bears.
